Hey! I'm Mary Julia.
Welcome to Wild Garden Farms.
It's been a long and winding road, but every passion I've had and job I've held has led me to Wild Garden Farms. I have my Masters in Education from Wake Forest University with a focus in Curriculum Development, am a National Board and Duke Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and a Community Herbalist. I taught high school for 7 years before shifting my attention to wellness coaching in order to bring health and balance to my own life. I apprenticed for 7 years with a local herbalist, Suki Roth, and am now growing an herb, veggie and fruit farm on my land with my husband. By the Eno River, Wild Garden Farms is a space for community, growth and love of all natural gifts from God. My passion has always been working with kids and teens, so the Apprenticeship Programs and family workshops are the natural combination of my love for teaching, nature, health, and desire to grow self-sufficient families and community.
