Here in North Carolina, we're currently experiencing what we call false fall.Everyone gets all excited and unpacks their sweaters and pumpkin spice blends, but we all really know that second summer is right around the corner.
So, to help you avoid the disappointment of profusely sweating at 10 am again, here is a delicious, medicinal and easy recipe to balance your nerves and help with the loooooooong southern summer for those of us who are just over it.
The medicine in this recipes comes from an herbal infusion that is blended with fruit and spices and then frozen into an anytime treat.
Add 1/4 cup of raw milk for a creamier popsicle with extra vitamins, minerals, and beneficial bacteria for the gut.
Other herb + fruit popsicle combos:
- lavender + blueberry
- lemon balm + strawberry
- chamomile + peach
- lemon verbena + watermelon
- nettles + pineapple
- rose + cherry
- peppermint + cantaloupe
Have fun, get creative, but most importantly, use what you have on hand in your garden, freezer or pantry!
