NB: Make sure to strain the berries to get the seeds out, as they can cause severe digestive distress. I know from personal experience when I thought it would be smart to add the berries to a smoothie. Not smart. Not fun.
Take elderberry syrup by the teaspoonful, pour over pancakes and waffles, add to some sparkling water for an afternoon spritzer {my favorite}, or blend the syrup, not the berries / seeds, in your smoothies.
Whatever you do, just enjoy it consistently.
